As for other tips on attaining the best possible shape you can, I have some tips that might be helpful to others out there, even if you are in pretty good shape to begin with. 

TIP #1:  Increase your water intake!  Drink more, but be careful not to 'drown' your system in water consumption.  The simple fact is this: Most of us do NOT drinnk ENOUGH water!  Cut out the Cokes and Sugar (especially the "DIET" stuff containing artificial sweetners and aspartame! BAD BAD BAD!) and go to strictly H2O.  I, personally, carry around a 32 ounce plastic bottle, which I fill early in the morning before my workout with my "SUPER MIX", and then throughout the day.  Another tip with this TIP:  if you don't SHOWER in purified water, SAVE your money and do not buy expensive purified water to drink (unless you just like the taste!).  Your body will absorb more chemicals in a 5-minute hot shower or bath than by drinking tap water the entire day!  The best thing?  Buy a shower purifier and hook it up.  It is the cheapest fix short of 'purifying' the entire house.  But, if you are not showering or bathing in pure water, save the money and don't buy the stuff in the stores.  It is all psychological.

TIP #2:  Start EVERY workout with 10 minutes of cardio (and, if possible, start every MORNING with 10 to 15 minutes of cardio; a short, brisk walk will do!).  This will jump start your day, your workout and your metabolism.  I get on the Elliptical X-Trainer each morning for 10 minutes prior to my weight days, minimum 20 to 60 minutes on cardio days.  But, the tip is doing a 10 minute warm-up of cardio even on days that you are doing NO cardio.  Again, this will jump start your metabolism and set the tone for the day and the impending workout. 

TIP #3:  Small meals throughout the day. Balance.  Don't buy into the the various fad diets stressing protein this week, only carbs the next, even the FAT diet!   Along with the H2O throughout the day, the jump start of cardio each morning, breaking your eating habits up into small meals throughout the day will help you in your fitness and nutrition regimen by feeding your body throughout the day.  We as WORKING Americans developed the 3 meals a day routine.  Why?  Work of course!  We eat before we go to work.  We eat in the middle of the day as a break from work.  Then, we eat our big meal after work.  This is NOT optimal for the human body.  Your metabolism will work harder and 'go faster' if you eat smaller, nutritious meals 5 or 6 times throughout the day as opposed to our traditional, American, WORKING habit!  Can't do it?  No TIME?  Bull.  You can.  It takes 21 days to develop a habit.  Do it.

Tip #4:  Do not eat 4 hours prior to sleep.

Tip #5:  TAKE YOUR VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS AND NUTRITIONALS!  It is and has been proven by even the Medical community that we, as a human race, do not get the required nutrition from our food supply alone!  I have researched and reviewed vitamins and supplements for over 2 decades.  I highly suggest: RBC, Royal Body Care, Nanotechnology based Nutritionals (click here to review/order).  DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!  Do your research.  Get "off" of the synthetics that are purchased at grocery stores, discount pharmacies and wholesale clubs!  INVEST IN PROPER ALL-NATURAL NUTRITION, skip the "chemical" synthetics and do not skimp on your family's health!
